Most companies now have people using AI whether anyone approved it or not. Somebody in the office is pasting customer emails into a chatbot, somebody else tried it once, got a confidently wrong answer, and quit. Training fixes the gap between those two, and we do it with your team at their own computers, on the work they actually do.
What a session looks like
We start by asking what each person's week is made of. The estimator writing quotes, the office manager chasing paperwork, the person who assembles the same report every Monday. Then we work through those real tasks together, live, rather than showing slides about what AI can do in general.
People leave with prompts that work for their specific job, written down, so the value does not disappear when the session ends. We come back after a few weeks, because the first session teaches people what is possible and the second one is where they bring the problems they hit on their own. One session on its own tends not to stick.
What we cover
- Which tool for which job. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini are not interchangeable, and the one you already pay for through Microsoft or Google is often the right answer.
- How to ask for something useful. The difference between a vague request and a specific one is most of the difference between a useless answer and a good one.
- What is safe to paste and what is not. Customer data, employee records, pricing, drawings, anything under contract. This is the part most training skips and the part that gets companies in trouble.
- How to tell when it is wrong. AI states a shaky answer with the same confidence as a solid one, so we teach people to check the things that matter and to notice the kinds of work where it tends to be unreliable.
- Where it should not be used at all. Anything that has to give the same answer every time belongs in software, not in a chat window.
- What to do next. By the end we usually know the one or two tasks in the business worth automating properly, which is a different conversation than training.
Why us
We are not a training company. We build software, and we have built AI into systems people depend on. We rebuilt the prompt library behind an AI outbound email platform, and it has run more than 50 million times without failure. We built AI essay grading for more than 800 schools, scored against the program's own rubrics.
That matters for training in one specific way. We know where this technology quietly falls over, because we have had to make it hold up under real load. We also have no product to sell you at the end of it. If the honest answer for your team is that the tool you already own is enough and nobody needs to buy anything, that is what we will tell you. We put that to the test publicly in an experiment on how much to trust AI, where the same question produced answers ranging from $42,000 to $128,000.
How it is arranged
Sessions run in person around Mankato and southern Minnesota, or remotely anywhere. Small groups work better than a room of forty, and we would rather run two sessions for the people who touch the work than one for everybody.
Pricing depends on how many people, how many sessions, and whether you want us to write up prompts and guidelines for your team afterward. Tell us the shape of it and we will quote it plainly.
This is probably you if
- People are already using AI at work and nobody has said what is allowed
- Your team tried it, got a wrong answer, and decided it was useless
- You pay for Copilot or ChatGPT seats and are not sure anyone uses them
- You want the office to spend less time on paperwork without buying another system
- You would rather your people learned this on your work than on a generic course
